Sliema is to be found along the northeast coast of Malta & lies separated from Valletta by just an inlet of the Grand Harbour which makes for a fantastic view. Its seafront has many shops, cafés, bars & restaurants as well as 2 shopping plazas/malls. Sliema boasts many hotels and plenty of nightlife. As one of the top resorts for a Malta holiday, buses & taxis are readily available and there is even a ferry service across to Valletta. Sightseeing boat trips also depart from Sliema for tours of the Grand Harbour as well as round Malta and Comino. Beautiful views can also be ‘taken in’ from Sliema’s long promenade.
